East Bluff Community Center Food Pantry

In 2018 the EBCC hosted 1640 family visits over 48 Saturdays. With food donated by Midwest Food Bank, Peoria Area Food Bank, and Heart of Illinois Harvest, the Food Pantry offers pre-made baskets plus food options that the participants can select. The pantry serves residents from the 61603 zip code.


Pantry Hours

  • 10:00 a.m. to Noon
  • First four Saturdays of the month.
  • No pantry service on the fifth Saturday.


Who can qualify?

  • Any individual who lives in the 61603 zip code.
  • You qualify by showing up.
  • No proof of income is needed; only a proof of residency - showing you live in the East Bluff.


How to sign-up? 

  • Register on the Saturday that you need the food. 
  • Present proof of residency - such as a driver's license, utility bill or other invoice with your address.


Where do you go?

  • Come in the main door on Kansas street.
  • Go down the stairs to the first floor. 
  • There is a Registration Table which is personed by a volunteer.
  • Show your proof of East Bluff residency.


How often can I get food?

A patron may get food from the pantry once a month.


Have breakfast while you wait.

We serve our patrons one at a time. While you are waiting for your turn, enjoy breakfast which has been prepared for you by our volunteers. 


What do you receive?

  • Patrons will choose from a selection of fresh bread, canned goods and bakery goods. 
  • There is usually also a seasonal selection of fresh fruits and veggies, frequently including cabbage, lettuce, and peppers.
  • You will also receive a pre-packed bag of a week's worth of groceries, including frozen meat.

  • To donate food or money, call 453-6688.
  • To volunteer, show up Saturday morning by 9:00 a.m.


You can arrange for delivery at home if you need it.
